Golden Triangle tour
Hawa Mahal, Jaipur
Day 1

Delhi to Jaipur

To start our Golden Triangle tour, we will pick you up at your hotel and make our way to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan state. Jaipur is also known as Old City or the Pink City because of the colour of its buildings. Our first stop will be the City Palace, the most famous tourist attraction of Jaipur. The City Palace was the ceremonial and administrative seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur until 1949.
After a short drive away, you will wander around the Albert Hall Museum, the oldest museum in Rajasthan. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 2

Jaipur

After a short drive to Amer, near Jaipur, you will visit the Amber Fort in the morning. Built in the 16th century, the Amber Fort is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur and for good reasons. After the Amber Fort, we will drive to the Nahargarh Fort, known as Tiger Fort, where you can appreciate a panoramic view of Jaipur city. We will go past the beautiful Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) in the afternoon. We recommend a short walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar observatory.
A short drive away, you will Galtaji, a series of temples built in narrow crevices. It is also known as the Monkey Temple because of the large population of macaques that lives there. Later in the evening, you can see the local market and enjoy the vibrant Jaipur. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Taj Mahal, Agra
Day 3

Jaipur to Agra

On the way to Agra, we will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted red stone city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. After walking around the UNESCO World Heritage ghost town, we will drive you to the stunning Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri which can be dated to the 8th or 9th century. Finally, the highlight of this tour: in the evening, you will have the chance to visit the Taj Mahal at sunset. The Taj Mahal, which translates as "Crown of the Palace", is an ivory-white marble mausoleum that houses the tomb of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan's favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After the Taj Mahal visit, we will drive you to your hotel so you can relax. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 4

Agra

You will have the possibility to see the Taj Mahal again but this time at sunrise. After that, we visit the Agra Fort, an important medieval complex with beautiful mosques and palaces. The Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. We will then make our way to the Baby Taj, the tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, which is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. After this beautiful day in Agra, it is the end of our Golden Triangle tour and we will drive you back to Delhi.

We hope our Golden Triangle tour will be the highlight of your holidays in India. If you are staying a bit longer in our beautiful country, you can certainly enjoy our one-day private tour of Delhi. During this private day tour, we will drive you around so you will visit the most iconic places of New and Old Delhi. You will see the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Humayun's tomb, Qutub Minar, the Lotus Temple, the President’s House, the Parliament's House and the India Gate.
